PE and Sport
Castleshaw Centre can provide training in a number of adventurous activities to help meet the requirements of the following Awards. GCSE PE Edexcel Section 2.1 - Practical performance Group E Identifying and solving problems to overcome challenges of an adventurous nature (for example in outdoor and adventure activities)
Public Services Level 2 (2011) Units 8, 10 & 15 Public Services Level 3 (2011) Units 2, 9, 10, 11 & 35 Sports Level 2 (2010) Unit 3: Outdoor & Adventurous Activities AQA Unit Awards - various options are available under this scheme. In addition to the qualifications listed above, these activities can also allow the participants the opportunity to gain Nationally recognised performance Awards in certain activity areas (eg. NICAS climbing awards, BCU Canoeing & Kayaking awards) |
