Outdoor & Adventurous Activity courses - what to bring

Wear old clothes, but try to avoid cotton (T-shirts, jeans) for water activities as it can feel cold when wet.

• Extra warm clothes, eg. fleece, coat, hat gloves
• A full change of clothes, including footwear and underwear.
  (Assume that everything you wear is going to get wet, then think what you need to wear on the way home!)
• Towel
• Sun hat and sun cream (if it's sunny)

Castleshaw Centre will provide all specialist equipment, eg. canoeing / kayaking kit, climbing kit, biking kit etc.

If you want to bring your own equipment, please check with Castleshaw staff first.

Please do not bring:

• Electronic games
• Mobile phones
• Knives
• Large amounts of money
